Personal favorite fight scenes Part 2 & 3

The next set of videos are obviously from the same movie.  Again this movie was from the 90's and I had a serious problem not fast forwarding to these two parts.  The music is beyond awesome and again the choreography is superb.  Yes folks, if the giant picture didn't give it away I'm talking about Mortal Kombat!

In this first clip Linden Ashby playing Johnny Cage runs into our favorite ninja palette swap Scorpion played by Chris Casamassa.  With hilarious CGI and a song by Fear Factory (if anyone knows the name please let me know) this fight scene always made me want to beat up my friends in the front yard. I developed an interesting mindset because of this fight; whenever I see a row a trees even remotely looking like these, I keep waiting for Scorpion to do a cartwheel out of them.  Trivia for you people like me out there: the voice of Scorpion in this scene was Ed Boon.  For those that don't know who the hell Ed Boon is, he did the voice for Scorpion throughout the MK series and was the games co-creator along with John Tobias ( Noob Saibot anyone??).  Also who in their right mind says "Welcome!" then punches you in the face? Scorpion, that's who!

Our next stop is a fight scene between Robin Shou  as Lui Kang and (the first secret character in a fighting game I ever saw) Reptile played by Keith Cooke.  Here is a bit of trivia for you; Keith also went on to play Sub-Zero in the horrible sequel Mortal Kombat Annihilation.  Once again the CGI is hilarious but if I remember correctly at the time it didn't look so bad to me.  This is also the first and last time you see Lui Kang's bicycle kick in action...he was totally holding low kick that entire fight.

I would also like to thank Styxero for uploading these clips to youtube in such good quality.
