The Road

In a post apocalyptic future a man and his son fight to survive in a dying world.  After an unnamed cataclysmic event destroys most of the life on Earth, the few humans left resort to any means necessary to survive.  Cannibalism, murder, stealing, and those that wish to continue to preserve humanity are all that await those that travel The Road.

The Chumscrubber

Well with the wait until we are able to put out the Iron Man 2 podcast, I figured I would give you guys a nice look at a movie that went unnoticed.  Don't let the goofy name fool you as I did, The Chumscrubber is a decent film that touches on themes that aren't too deep but can get you thinking.  I initially thought this film would be some sort of Donnie Darko rehash but The Chumscrubber, while it does have some of that flavor, surprised me and taught me two lessons.  Do not judge a movie by its title and give any movie a shot, you may learn something.

Nightmare on Elm Street Podcast

This is our first podcast, the audio is a little off due to some technical problems.  These podcasts WILL improve and once I get the rest of my software up, will be edited properly.  Unfortunately this podcast was not edited but its not a big deal.  I hope you enjoy it, Happy Mothers Day!  Oh and also, SPOILER WARNING.....you know!

The Blind Side

Every once in awhile, I come across a movie that manages to reach out and inspire me to do better.  The Blind Side, directed and written by John Lee Hancock, is the story of Michael Oher.  Anyone who watches the NFL will know Michael Oher as the offensive lineman for the Baltimore Ravens.  Michael Oher's story is truly an inspiration for people who feel they have many obstacles in their lives and for those that already have overcome them.  The Blind Side is truly a must see for anyone of any background.

Street Fighter Legacy

Considering I did Street Fighter: Beginning's End, I felt it was appropriate to do the other major fan film release, Street Fighter Legacy.

This Street Fighter fan film directed by Joey Ansah and Owen Trevor follows along the same lines as Beginning's End but without any real story.  Starring Jon Foo as Ryu and Christian Howard as very convincing Ken, Legacy falls short where Beginning's End succeeded.

Street Fighter: Beginning's End

This isn't something I would normally write about, but I felt it deserved a mention.  Street Fighter: Beginning's End directed by Christopher C. Cowan is a fan made Street Fighter film featuring Brendon Huor as Ryu and Shaun Charney as Ken.  The premise is simple, yet effective, through great fight choreography that almost tells a story of its own.  The setting is short and to the point, just before Ryu leaves to compete in the first World Warrior Tournament (Street Fighter 1) him and Ken have one last match...
